An adventure awaits around the corner! If you want to get even closer to the narrow-gauge railway, get to know every single rail joint and really enjoy nature, there is the opportunity to cycle dressage.
You start cycling from Hultsfred towards Målilla sanatorium, a distance of about 13 km one way, it takes a little more than an hour to cycle 13 km. The dressers roll easily on the tracks so the stretch works well even for the slightly older children if they want to pedal themselves.
After about half the distance, about 6 km from Hultsfred, you pass the community Ödhult. Here there is a nice rest area with coffee table, trash can and ball board for the children.
When you approach Målilla about 12 km from Hultsfred, the narrow track goes out over Lake Hesjön. The course passes straight across the lake and then follows the shoreline of Hesjön. Here is a rest area with coffee table and dass. The rest area at Hesjön is a perfect place to enjoy a good coffee before you continue the last bit into Målilla and the stop Målilla sanatorium. At Målilla sanatorium you see the nice little bus stop and here ends the dressage stretch from Hultsfred.

Very nice activity. Highly recommend it! We booked 4 hours and that time was quite enough for a tour of the entire route and a long coffee break. Despite some small mishaps on the way, we were back with a good time margin. You get paper with rules of conduct, and the staff tells you these before departure as well. Follow them! Especially the one about not driving too fast on the downhills. The dressings are in very different condition. I got to ride two different ones and both the comfort of the seat and the general feeling of stability differed on them. So try out what feels good to you before starting, is my advice. During the trip, there was a very nice atmosphere among the riders. Everyone helped to lift off and put back the dresser when passing each other. Wonderful views during the tour and good rest stops. It's not a heavy bike.
Nothing for those who let their backs hurt, little lifting and a lot of scum. You have to be strong to constantly lift off a dressin at a meeting. Cozy environment and easy cycling
Absolutely loved cycling the dressage! The children sat next to him on a bench, it was possible to borrow a pillow and a helmet for the children. Friendly staff. Had a picnic and swimwear with us to eat and swim at Hesjön. Super beautiful nature! Note for small accidents that can happen easily if you are not attentive / too fast / do not follow the rules.
