The deep lake is a small and deep lake located west of Hultsfred. The lake is part of Stora Hammarsjöns FVO. SFK Kroken looks over the area and regularly puts out a rainbow. The lake is next to the road that goes to the bathing area at Stora Hammarsjön. Parking is available near the lake.

Around the lake there are barbecue areas, jetties and wind shelters, which makes fishing easy to access. The lake has a handicap jetty and toilet, so that people with disabilities can also practice sport fishing. The lake quickly gets deep off the edges.

The water vegetation is very sparse and consists of cataracts and water lilies. On the eastern shore there is much rock and it is steep, while on the west side there are more marshes. Coniferous forest dominates the surroundings.

  • Invite the whole family on a fishing trip. Guaranteed by all ages. Here you can as a disabled fish.

Fishing in the deep sea

The fishing for rainbows is good all around the lake and because there are piers evenly spaced out you can eat well. Good methods are spinning, fishing, fly fishing and pimple fishing.

Met fishing is soothing as you can sit and watch a float. Good baits for the mash are worm, maggot and shrimp. Spinning fishing works well with small spoons in strong colors and with small spinners. Shrimp fishing with shrimp works well in winter.

There is usually plenty of fish! Only applies to catching them on the hook. But that is the art of fishing.
