Filip Jers Quartet has refined the meeting between jazz and traditional folk melodies where the harmonica plays the main role. This has meant that the quartet has received a lot of attention at jazz clubs and festivals both nationally and internationally. SVT has shown a documentary about Filip Jers where the quartet has a prominent role. In 2014, the Filip Jers Quartet won "Best Group" at the international competition EBU Jazz Competition in Rotterdam. Their music has also been played extensively on the radio.
