Book circle - Elin Wägner
March 21 at 17am - 18:30
Book circle "Penshaft"
In the spring, Hultsfred's library begins a collaboration with Virserum's art gallery, a project there
we connect art and literature, present and past and hand and head.
Our hope is that this is a first step on a long journey together.
We have chosen to focus on Elin Wägner (1882-1949), who was a writer, journalist and one of the women's and peace movement
foreground figures during the early 1900th century, and above all far ahead of their time.
We meet on Thursday 21/3 at Virserum's library to discuss and immerse ourselves in Elin Wägner's novel The Pen Shaft (1910).
There are 10 places, so first come, first served, registration takes place here, or by contacting the library.
State whether you want to pick up your book at Hultsfred's or Virserum's library when you register, the book is a gift from us.
The library offers coffee.
Needlework as a side job at the meeting is encouraged
.
Welcome!
