Målilla Motorklubb and Dackarna can proudly announce that there will be triple WC competitions in Målilla in 2024.

• Friday 14 June starts SGP2, the WC series for 21-year-olds in the Småland forest.
• On Saturday, June 15, the success for the youngest (11-13 years) returns - SGP4.
• On Saturday evening, June 15, the fifth of a total of eleven races in the Grand Prix series will be run at Skrotfrag Arena.

For the 18th time in a row, the "Thrilla in Malilla", as the competition is often called, will take place.

The first time the Grand Prix speedway was run in Målilla was in 2005. Since then, the GP circus has returned to Skrotfrag Arena time and time again with BSI as organizer. The exception was in 2013, when the organizer chose to run competitions in Stockholm and Gothenburg instead. In 2020 there was also no competition in Målilla, that time it was due to the Corona pandemic.

For 2022, Discovery Sports Events came in as the new organizer for the GP series. Once again, Målilla in Hultsfred municipality and Skrotfrag Arena hosted world-class speedway competitions.
