Party with Vaasa
November 2, 2021 at 19:00 - 20:10
150 SEKA historically correct infotainment performance where the head is loose on some but Gustav Vasa's hairstyle is impeccable.
The year is 1560. King Gustav has transformed Sweden from a country with constant internal conflicts and uprisings on the outskirts of Europe into a modern nation state. And not only that, the king has also run out the Catholic Church and had a Protestant state church established.
Now King Gustav is tired and more dead than alive. To cheer up his old father, have his children arrange a surprise party in his honor. Forty years have passed since the young nobleman Gustav Eriksson escaped from captivity in Denmark and landed on Stensö cape in Kalmar and it must be celebrated with pomp and circumstance! The guest list includes prominent guests from near and far. The occasional uninvited guest also appears, as do the ghosts from the king's bloody past.
