Hultsfreds People's Park
You are now on classic ground! Sweden's most legendary music festival - Hultsfredsfestivalen - was born here. Want to explore the place even more?
Download the app Hultsfred - The Walk and listen to facts, curiosities and stories guide you from Ebba Grön, via Monica Zetterlund and Sven Ingvar's incredible success at the Hultsfred Festival, to the 35 people who saw Metallica by the lake Hulingen. Hultsfred Strandcamping
Campsite with fantastic location by Lake Hulingen. If you are cycling in the summer, we suggest a stop here to eat a tasty waffle, there are both savory and sweet waffle creations as well as large loads of ice cream. Yum!
Here, too, you are on classic ground – paradise for many festival campers who visited the Hultsfred Festival.
Hail room blast furnace
Do not miss Hail room blast furnace which proudly rises in the village of Hagelsrum. The blast furnace was built in 1748. At that time, Sweden was a major power among Europe's iron-producing countries. The blast furnace came to supply pig iron to the bar iron forge in Storebro.
Great Hammar Lake
Stop by for a break and maybe dip your toes!? For those who prefer to walk instead of cycling, there are nice hiking trails in the area - Björnnäslingan, Lake Hammar around and Hammarsjö trail.
If you want to make the bike tour a two-day tour, you can rent one of the cabins located next to the lake and end the tour by sinking into the wood-fired hot tub at Hammarsjön's sauna and hot tub and relax really properly
Björnnäset nature reserve
Do not miss Björnnäsets nature reserve which is right next to Stora Hammarsjön's wilderness camping. Here the trees have been allowed to grow in peace, a magical forest awaits with old pines standing around boulders, covered in lichen. In the area there are both grouse and brown trout. The area is also visited by several of our woodpeckers, including the great black sparrow crow. You can choose to walk a distance of 2 or 3,5 kilometers, both in hilly terrain.
