Boda Smide sprang from the heyday of the Småland glassworks in the 50s and 60s and continues to build on old smithing and glass traditions in Småland. All forging production takes place today in the forge in Virserum in Småland. Through a historic collaboration with recognized Swedish artists/designers, we create unique, beautiful and atmospheric products of iron and glass with a timeless character. Chandeliers, candlesticks, candle lanterns and sconces from Boda Forge are made of heavy, sullen iron, hammered with mana power and light, airy glass, blown with the breath. Both redeemed from the same element, fire.
