Overnight cabins with room for four people.

Small, simple cottages of 10 square meters that are perfect for overnight stays. The cottages are located in a fenced area behind the facility. One of the cottages is a common service house with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. WC and shower are in the facility next to the cottages.

This place was brilliant. Great value for the price. You pick up the key at a nearby gas station and they provide a nice package of information and maps with the key to the cabin. We were a little worried about how it would look, but the cabins/cottages are behind a city sports center on the edge of town. We were nervous at first about driving onto the sidewalk (by the buildings) and walking around behind the pool, but once we got the hang of it, it was fine. You park at the bottom of the wooden steps and then go up a small hill. There are 6 huts, only 4 are used for sleeping. The other two are storage and a shared mini kitchen (no water or stove/oven, just a small fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker.) There are NO utincels or cooking supplies, so be sure to bring them! There is a fireplace and several wooden picnic benches. Unfortunately WiFi does NOT extend to the cottages. We found it worked if you are sitting in your car below. The bathrooms/showers are the sports changing rooms which you reach via a short path and a key. You can take a long hot shower and there are several toilets so no one has to wait! The complex is surrounded by lush forests and there is a fence around it and the gate is locked at night so it is very secure. There is a lovely pond next to the complex with walking trails through the forest. The cabin is simple but provides what you need - sufficient double bunk beds (you MUST bring your own bed linen and towels anywhere in Sweden) with electricity and heater. When you price the same huts at the campsite they are twice as much! You can walk to the center in 10 minutes. There are some great restaurants (get your pizza with fries on it!). There are some fun things to do in the area. Go to the tourist desk inside the public library, they will give you brochures for train tours, museums and other fun things. If you go to the nearby campsite (7 minute drive) there is free parking at the entrance and you can rent paddle boards, boats, canoes, kayaks, bikes, go-karts, all at a reasonable price. There are many grocery stores. People speak English and are friendly and generally helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area. It's much better than tent camping (because it often rains and gets cold at night--7 degrees Celsius--even in August!) and not as noisy or crowded as a campground.

Good and nice cottage. Located a little hidden behind the sports facilities and can be a little difficult to find. Simple but nice facilities and good baths and toilets in the sports complex. Nice to be able to use the pool for a fee.
