Around Hammarsjön goes around Stora Hammarsjön and is excellent for a day trip. You mostly walk on a narrow path along the lake on fairly flat ground through the forest except for a few climbs. Some ridges take you over moss land and acid currents and you see the water almost all the time.
Three more hiking trails start from Hammarsjön's outdoor area. Partly the Hammarsjö Trail at 11 km and Björnnäset which has two trails, one at 2 km and one at 4 km. If you want to experience something special, you should try on Hammarsjön's nature spa with sauna and hot tub. Here it is the wood burning and candlelight that accounts for the energy. No electricity as far as the eye can reach. Book the resort at the cultural and leisure office or Hultsfred's tourist information. There is also a nature campsite and cabins for those who want to stay overnight! #hikinghultsfred

Hammarsjöleden is an incredibly beautiful trail. It is well signposted, there are benches along the road and information signs that tell about landmarks that you meet.
A nice trail that takes you past different nature experiences. Perfect for anyone we discover but do so at a leisurely pace.
