It is the music that has put Hultsfred on the map and nowhere else in Hultsfred does the music sit as deep in the walls as in Hotel Hulingen.
We are a family-run hotel in central Hultsfred with a beautiful view of Lake Hulingen and only 15 minutes away from Astrid Lindgren's World.
Every time you visit Hotel Hulingen, we hope you discover something new. We - Jenny and Putte Svensson Sahlin - have just taken over the hotel and we want to create a hotel with a family warmth, which oozes from the music history created in Hultsfred since the start of the festival in 1986.
As we are both from the non-profit association Rockparty and Hultsfredsfestivalen, it is not so strange that we let the music permeate our hotel - Hotell Hulingen is Sweden's foremost rock'n'roll hotel.
Everywhere in the hotel you can find traces of the artists who have visited Hultsfred and if you want to stay in shape you can borrow our rep room in the basement. Or you can just slide into the pub Oskarsgatan 41 for good music and nice anecdotes about Motörhead, Sven-Ingvars, Monica Zetterlund or any of the other artists who have visited Hultsfred, the festival and Hotel Hulingen.

Superior room
Our superior rooms are double rooms for 2-4 people. These rooms are perfect for the family, where the children sleep in a comfortable sofa bed while the parents sleep in a double bed. In each superior room you will find an armchair, desk and a bathroom with shower.
Standard
Our standard rooms are for 1-3 people. There is a single bed and a sofa bed, an armchair, a desk and a bathroom with a bath or shower. These rooms are perfect for the business traveler or the small family - 1 adult and 2 children.

We have experience of everything from small meetings over a lunch to arranging kick-off festivals for thousands of employees, who will sleep in tents, be entertained and live real festival life.
At Hotel Hulingen we have a fully equipped conference facility for up to 60 people. At major conferences, we collaborate with Rock City and Campus Hultsfred. Together we are used to organizing large events and among our previous clients are among others Manpower and Åbro Brewery.

We are particularly proud of our fine room range and in collaboration with Hultsfreed Hayride we serve the Hayride specialist. But if you feel like something else, we are happy to tell you about a good prosecco or about cool non-alcoholic drinks.

We want the food we prepare to be imbued with the same genuine feeling that the hotel is otherwise characterized by. It is about food prepared with warmth and feeling, with a lot of local ingredients.
To get you off to a really good start to the day, we have healthy options on our breakfast buffet, and our menu also includes organic choices - both in terms of food and drink.

Fresh and cozy hotel. Good room, central location, very nice staff. The breakfast buffet was perhaps nothing to write home about, but everything else made up for it!
Stayed two nights (Monday to Wednesday). The first breakfast was mostly ok but the french toast was old, hard and dry. The breakfast on day two, the orange juice was warm and the french fries were frozen instead of dry. In the room I found an empty beer can under the armchair and long strands of hair that didn't come from me after all. Felt carelessly cleaned.
We were looking for accommodation and had to wander around the industrial area before we suddenly saw this hotel in the center. Affordable hotel with very friendly staff. Good food on the menu. Nice troubadour entertainment. Very good selection for breakfast. When my husband checked us out, he said: - Last night I had two girls in the room! My wife and Robyn on the wall! All rooms have the aura of a festival artist from the Hultfred festivals.
