Vena Värdshus is located in the middle of Astrid Lindgren's home village, only 18 kilometers from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here it is nhonor to Smålän forests and charming lakes where you can take a refreshing dip.
Each apartment has its own toilet and shower and the kitchens are equipped for self-catering. For those who choose the inn rooms, breakfast and cleaning are included. All rooms have Smart TV and free WiFi.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant.

Cozy and child-friendly place. Close to Astrid Lindgren's world. Super nice staff and really good food :) we will definitely be back next year. I think they have come a long way with renovation and stuff in 1 year and look forward to seeing their further development of everything :) and my daughters got a friend that they hold close to their hearts. For the second year in a row, we have stayed at Vena Världshus, which is run by a super nice family. The reason we wanted to come back was because it was relaxing to stay there with toddlers. The family who run the inn are very accommodating and helpful. There is space for the children to play on the large lawn with football goals and a sandbox. They also have a rabbit and some cuddly ducks, in an enclosure, which the kids find fun. It is highly likely that we will make a reservation next year, to go to Astrid Lindgren's world with grandchildren. Thank you for being there.
Was not so clean when we arrived had to start by sweeping the floor, could not be darkened as the blinds were broken, there were no bedside lamps, looked very rough when you arrived. Was not worth the price, and if you want you can buy for cleaning, but it was unnecessarily expensive. The owners have apparently just taken over so you have to give them a chance.
The rooms were ok, looked to be renovated quite recently. However, no nice toilets and shower rooms, we also got old, dirty towels. Parts of the staff were not perceived as so nice when we asked for things. Breakfast could have been better, blah blah it wasn't topped up with juice etc.
Older standard. Bad smell in the apartment. Paid extra for bedding, they were so ragged and used they were hard on the body. Breakfast consisted of a type of loaf, egg, cheese, ham, tomato, filet and fruit yogurt with muesli or cornflakes. Paid SEK 2500 for one night with bed linen, towels, breakfast and cleaning and it was definitely not worth it. Good with its own entrance and lawn outside where the children could play.
