The Badhusföreningen in Bösebo was formed in 1937 and since then it has been possible to shower and bathe in the bathhouse in Bösebo. Over the years renovations and improvements have been carried out in an attempt to retain some of the original character. In the 1930s, when the bathhouse was inaugurated, people had come to the realization that good hygiene was a good way to keep certain diseases away, but the possibility of bathing was not available in homes, but people were referred to public bathhouses. Nowadays, the bath house gives us the opportunity for a warm and pleasant sauna and gives us the opportunity for an unforced and pleasant time together.
Currently, the bathhouse is open for men every Friday at 15.30-19.30pm. Everyone is welcome, no membership or advance registration is necessary.
Between June 14 and August 9, 2024, the sauna will be closed.
The cost is SEK 40 per bath with a bathing card and SEK 50 for single baths. Children up to the age of 15 free and young people between the ages of 15 and 21 SEK 25.
