Kosafari and Tramp adventure at Brånstrand's family farm

We in the Brånstrand family warmly welcome you to our family farm in beautiful Emådalen. The farm is located in the village of Tigerstad and is a long-standing family farm since the middle of the 1s, and here we run a family farm with dairy cows. In the area there used to be vagabonds who often spent the night on haystacks and in meadow barns that crossed their walking path.

It is on the farm and its scenic grounds that we give you exciting and unforgettable experiences that you have never had before by offering
Cow safari and Tramp Adventures

New for this year is "Kosafari - from cow to milk package"

Did you know that, on average, a milk cow can produce milk for 35 one-liter milk packets in one day? You will learn how this is done when the farmer, during an exciting guided tour together with the cows, tells you where the milk you drink comes from. Experience life on our dairy farm and also meet the calves, lambs, chickens, cats and rabbits that live there.

We offer milk from Arla and buns after the tour.

Open May-September: Mondays and Thursdays at 15-17
Reservation: Karina Brånstrand, text 073-807 60 99
Group size: max 10 people

A Kosafari contains

  • Herd the cows. Join the farmer and bring the cows home from the pasture to the barn and walk with them on cozy winding village roads. You get to get up close and get to know the cows for real and the farmer tells you about their behaviour.
  • Feeding and care of the cows. Be part of the cows being fed inside the barn while you learn about what they eat and why it is important. You get to see different machines that the farmer uses when feeding the cows.
  • Milk the cows. Watch the cows being milked and then follow the path of the milk from the cow's udder to the milk tank. Now you can really experience where the milk you drink comes from.
  • Other animals on the farm: You also get to meet our calves, lambs, chickens, cats and rabbits.

Really liked the location. Close to animals, water and nature. Friendly people who owned the farm. It is a few reasonable miles from Astrid Lindgren's world, Katthult (Gibberyd) where Emil in Lönneberga was filmed and Adventure Pool in Oskarshamn if the weather is not suitable for the previous activities. Recommended.
