Galleri Kopparslagaren, Rallarstugan and Glaspellehuset are some of the culturally historically valuable environments in the neighborhood.

Along Storgatan in central Hultsfred there is a settlement with large one- and three-storey houses from the early 1900s. In these neighborhoods are the oldest houses in Hultsfred. The house row forms an architectural whole with buildings in the middle of the site. Monumental basements in granite and freestanding wooden houses are additional qualities well worth nurturing.

The neighborhood is the most cohesive area with larger residential buildings facing Storgatan. A courtyard of outbuildings and smaller dwellings is found in the courtyards. The many outbuildings and their location give a sense of farm environment.

The municipality has decided to preserve the buildings that exist today. This leads to the opportunity to recreate the original environment. Above all, it is the densified building style, trees and plants that showcase the genuineness of today's community building.

The Kopparslagaren association works to preserve the neighborhood and they run the Gallery Kopparslagaren. On Storgatan 61 where the Gallery is, it used to be a bakery. For many years, families have been connected to the railroad in the home. During the first half of the 1900th century, the station and the railway were an important workplace for many Hultsfred residents.

One of the houses has been named "Rallarstugan" where in the past there were occasionally workers who worked by the railway.
In Rallarstugan, an oasis for the elderly has grown through the church's help and a fine herb garden has taken shape.
Glaspellehuset is a magnificent three-storey house that has great significance for the cultural-historical value of the development along Storgatan.
