Fishing in Emån, Nyboholm to Klövdala

The bottom mite after roach and bream goes well on the stretch at Fröreda where you find the fish in calm floating holes and where the river turns. There you can also find great pike and the most effective way to get in contact with larger fish is to float with bait fish where the stream is calmer. On the route pike have been taken over 12 kg and fish between 5 and 10 kg are common. Even bottoming after pike in deep holes is a good method. It is also good to spin pike with a wobbler, jig or with a spoon pull. Good places for rough pike are around Fröreda, downstream of the Järnsjön lake and downstream of the hydropower station in Järnforsen. Sometimes you can find larger perch in the deeper and calmer parts.

When fishing, it is advantageous to move during the course of the fishing and for pike it is preferable to fish for a place for an hour and then move to a new place. Färna is a ferocious carp fish that likes to keep in contact with streaming parties and in places with stones and trees in the water. The distance can be found in principle on the entire route. Good distances are around Fröreda and downstream of Järnforsen. Good methods for the ferns are bottommeats and since the ferns are an omnivore you can use many different baits such as cheese, sausage, shrimp, bread or corn.

The best time for ferrying is April and May, but as the farmer is active throughout the year you can fish for it during all seasons. During the summer, farna fishing with floating bread on the surface is a highlight during the fishing year.
